Please Help!! Carnival Dream #2248

I have booked a Cove Balcony room on the main deck, port side for the Oct 9th sailing of the Dream. We are close to the forward elevators and over the theater I think. Our other options were 2284 which may be over the galley, I'm not sure. I'm wanting to stay port side and forward to middle. This is our 20th anniversary celebration and our 15 year old son's first cruise, I just don't want to get there and be stuck in an undesirable place.
