What is the closest beach to the pier? Is it in walking distance?

Relax...you only posted late last night, and the boards aren't as active on Sundays as other days of the week...you'll get lots of answers, don't worry... :D

 

Most of those answers will likely ask the same thing...what's your definition of "within walking distance" from the pier?

 

Seven Mile Beach is the closest beach. It's technically walkable, but the closest end is probably a mile or two from the port. Personally, I'd just take a taxi, though...it's only $4-6 per person each way to Royal Palms or Sea Grape, the best sections of the beach with good facilities, etc.
