buggins0402 Posted January 31, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 31, 2010 Not an MSC - but this would be my dream....wonder if they could put the Melody on a route similar to this? Probably too big. Perhaps it could do the Arion's route though. http://webitea-ce67-ce-francais.gp.itea.fr/fiche_prod.php?&DEP=67&BAS=P&TYP=C&LOOK=CE&FRM=O&DIR=O&NUM=DHD sorry tried to get the web-site to go into English but the flag button didn't work (kind of typical of the French;)!) First: a cruise on Amazon, this will be my craziest dream. I don't know if there is something like this. I know, you will wonder what do you want to see there? Is the water deep enough to support a great ship etc. But if MSC=FAMILY says money is no problem, I'll get there with my own yacht/ship. Second: a cruise on my farest destination-Australia & New Zealand. These destinations is my antipodes for me (also for my concitizens). @buggins0402: Dubrovnik & Split are very nice cities, go visit them.
cruiser551 Posted February 3, 2010 #7 Share Posted February 3, 2010 OK I'll bite. I think we just had it. We took the Celebrity Equinox Ancient Empires cruise (2 weeks). It covered Rome, Athens and Rhodes Greece, Ephesus Turkey, Haifa and Ashdod Israel to see northern Israel Sea of Galilee and southern part into Jerusalem. Then to Alexandria Egypt for a trip to Cairo then off to Naples to see Pompeii and the wonderfully picturesque Amalfi coast. Was truly a great trip but you want to be able to walk and not have serious leg/hip problems.
