What to do in Guadeloupe?

I was wondering what there is to do in Guadeloupe? Is there any private tour companies? What would you recommend?

Guadeloupe has some beautiful scenery and rain forest and also some lovely beaches. When we were there we spent the day at Club Med on Plage St. Anne (by far one of the prettiest beach I have been on). Guadeloupe is really 2 islands separated by a narrow arm of ocean. It looks like a butterfly. The left "wing" is where the rain forest and spectacular scenery are located. The right "wing" has the best beaches.
