bjsurman Posted February 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2010 are there any bars at port everglade terminal or in a short walk from there
Jim B Posted February 3, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2010 No. And from where the ships dock you would not be able to walk anywhere. Port Everglade is a large commercial freight and container ship port. It only has a small area set up for cruise ships. Not a place you would want to walk around. To many trucks, forklifts, etc. You would want to stop at a bar our restaurant before you enter the guarded gates to Port Everglade.

Jim B Posted February 3, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2010 I probably should clarify that there is nothing available at the port terminals that we have gone to. I must admit that we have only been to the terminals that Regent Seven Seas cruise line docks at and because they are smaller ships, (max 700 passengers), that may make a difference. I may have given you some wrong information.
oncruisecontrol Posted February 4, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2010 I've been to the Carnival terminals and there are no bars or restaurants there either. It's a glorified warehouse (on the first floor, anyway).

LOL, I think you mean Burt and Jack's (no Big Bird)! That has been closed for 15-20 yrs. There are no bars or restaurants in Port Everglades.
