And from where the ships dock you would not be able to walk anywhere.

Port Everglade is a large commercial freight and container ship port.

It only has a small area set up for cruise ships.

Not a place you would want to walk around. To many trucks, forklifts, etc.

You would want to stop at a bar our restaurant before you enter the guarded gates

to Port Everglade.

I probably should clarify that there is nothing available at the port

terminals that we have gone to.

I must admit that we have only been to the terminals that Regent Seven Seas cruise line

docks at and because they are smaller ships, (max 700 passengers), that may make

a difference.

I may have given you some wrong information.

i remember a restaurant called burt and ernies also there used to be a bar in the terminal. guess there is nothing anymore.

 

LOL, I think you mean Burt and Jack's (no Big Bird)! That has been closed for 15-20 yrs. There are no bars or restaurants in Port Everglades.
