Any comments about this hotel? Staying the night before our cruise.

 

The La Quinta is a favorite of taxi-phobic cruisers because it offers a "free" shuttle to the port. It is indeed an ok hotel, but just ok...at least a dozen nicer hotels in the airport area alone. A dingy area with almost nothing to walk to (a Bennigan's is next door). If you are willing to spring for $25 or so for a cab, you will have lots of nicer choices and you can leave for the port whenever you want to.

has anyone used their shuttle to the port? was in prompt or did you have to wait long to go?

The airport pick up, was there any problems?

We have stayed at the La Quinta and their shuttle was ok. You have to sign up when you check in, but I have to agree with other poster its in the middle of nowhere.If the Bennigans is still open it was mediocre at best. I would stay somewhere else and pay the cab fare. JMHO:D.
