Infant cruisers

What is the youngest a cruise line will allow you take an infant on board? I know carnival is 6 months. I didn't know if that is across all cruise lines. Do any allow a child under 6 months?

You are correct, Carnival is 6 months.

 

Princess is 6 months.

 

Disney is 12 weeks.

 

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity is 6 months for MOST but not all itineraries. (For transatlantic, transpacific, Hawaii, select South American and other selected cruises/cruisetours, the infant, as of the first day of the cruise/cruisetour, must be at least 12 months old.)

 

NCL is 6 months.

 

Costa is 6 months.

 

Holland America is 6 months.

 

MSC - NO minimum age for infants!

Good question because a lot of people don't realize the cruiselines have a minimum age in place for cruisers.:D It varies from line to line, so I will link you to this article that explains the requirements and things you can do with the little ones on the lines. http://*****/family-cruising/baby-friendly-cruising/

Princess is 6 months old except for transatlantics and exotic itineraries then the minimum age is 12 months. Same for Carnival and RCCL.

HAL must have just changed that because I took my daughter to Alaska when she was 5mos. Its good to know though. I guess if I get the cruising itch after baby number 2 we will be on MSC or Disney.
