Back from the Jan 30th sailing of Poesia

We are home from our cruise and I will write an in-depth review this week and post it in Member Reviews. We were happy with many things - but overall, we will probably not sail MSC again.

 

We sailed the Lirica in 2006 and much preferred that ship to this one. The Poesia was beautiful, immaculate, and the entire crew worked very hard to make sure it was a good cruise - we appreciate their efforts and did have a good time - it's other things that are personal taste issues for us that will keep us from sailing with MSC again.

 

I don't intend this as a negative for MSC - don't hesitate to do your own research and sail with them if you feel it is a good fit - you will have a great time! The entertainment was wonderful and the cruise director and her staff worked overtime to be sure people were involved and having fun and they were!
