Daysail tipping Question

We are booked on the High Pockets on our Glory cruise (just DH and me) and was wondering how much to tip the first mate. We reserved the boat for just the two of us ($600 - a HUGE splurge - this is our 10 year anniversary). I believe that we don't have to tip the captain any, but how much should we tip the first mate?

Thanks! :)

We did Highpockets over Thanksgiving, you will love it!!! I posted a review here. You need not tip the owner (Kathleen) just the first mate. I would think around $40 to $50 would be good. If you have Bill, he was great and he will snorkle with you if you want.

Amy

$50 is very good when you think that most people only tip about $5.00 a tour. They only take up to 6 people so I guess they would not make the tips that the larger tours make.

I can't wait to hear about how surprised Chris is when he gets there!!! See you in St Maarten!!!
