Can anyone tell me about the balcony layout. Specifically, is this balcony

covered/uncovered, or both.

We were on the Emerald, not the Crown, in an aft suite, but the cabins are the same. The balcony was fully covered, but being the end of the "row", and given the slight wrap around configuration of the railing, we found we got lots of sun in the afternoons. If you don't want to be in the sun, just move the chairs closer to the doors.
