Price Drop Question

I just checked and my Explorer cruise for 9/25/10 has gone down a total of $630.00 for my family of 3. I called RCCL but since it was 11:01pm they had just closed. I am afraid if I wait until they reopen in the morning the rate will be gone. I put a courtesy hold on it. That should preserve the lower rate for me right? I can not believe I noticed the new rate just as they were closing for the night!

1. "Putting it on hold" will not preserve a rate.

 

2. It should be there in the morning.

Not to snow on you...but with today being Tuesday...it's possible you saw a special for new bookings only which you would not get. That said, I hope for you it is a true price drop that you will be granted tomorrow.

I didn't see that sailing on their list of Tuesday sales but I just skimmed it quickly. If it's there now it will probably be there tomorrow morning. Take a screen print of it and make sure you have the same cabin types and are comparing apples to apples.

Putting it on hold, capturing it, etc ... none of it will matter if the RCCL rep cannot pull it up on his/her computer when you actually call in.

I was super excited already as we were able to snag AFT JS 1394 and now to get it for $630 less? Woo Hoo!

I could have upgraded to a GS for appx $200 less then my original JS price. I really really thought about it. But I have always wanted to try an aft cabin and I have read such great things about 1394 that I have to give it a shot! We'll have our 3 year old son with us so that huge balcony will give us a place to hang out while he is napping.
