Coki vs Trunk Bay

We try to stay away from Coki at all possible times. Usually too crowded with ship people and just perfer other beaches. Trunk Bay is nice, but if you do it on your own, be mindful of the time and leave extra to get back on the ferry and then to the ship. Trunk Bay can also be a very popluar and crowded beach. If your going to take the time to go to St. John you may want to try another beach that is less crowded. Cinnamon or Maho Bay are also nice. Maho is more seculed with less facilities there.

If you choose to stay on St. Thomas, I would recommend Secret Harbor or Cowpet Bay if you wnat to avoid the crowds. Even Magen's Bay can be nice if you move down the beach ( left or right) away from the concession stand.
