When you go to the talk about where to shop and get coupons and where free stuff is, is it really worth it or should you just go to 5th street and shop like there was no talk??

We found the shopping talk mildly entertaining, but essentially useless -- unless you wish to plan your itinerary solely around your shopping. The talk may be helpful if you have specific items you're looking for, but if your just 'touring' -- well, we just did it on our own, and still managed to find most of the places mentioned by the onboard 'shopper'.

I do not think it is worth it. I tend to avoid the places mentioned by the cruise line, myself.
