NCL Specialty Restaurants, Charge for Kids?

I have twins who will be 18 months old when we go on the Dawn shortly. My girls are really good eaters and never had any of the foods that are on the typical kid’s menu. With that said I would expect to be ordering off of the main menu instead. So what happens at the specialty restaurants. Do I need to pay for them? If I do can I order one main mean and pay one charge?

Thanks in advance.

Usually, kids pay 1/2 price when ordering off the menu at the specialty restaurants (except Teppanyaki, which is always full price). The kids menu is always free, but just has the usual kid food. I have to think if you order one meal for them to split, you'll only be charged for the one meal - but I have read on the NCL board that passengers have sometimes had different experiences with pricing of kids meals, so you may just want to confirm each time what they're going to charge.

Best,

Mia
