Rocket4Oh Posted February 19, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2010 Our cruise will be visiting the isle of Zakinthos, Greece in September. I've read the Rick Steve's and Fodor books and find no mention of the isle reputed to have the 'most beautiful water in the Med. The greeka.com website provides some information. It looks like a beautiful place to visit but does anyone have addition info about the isle: places to see, things to do? I'd like to see the turtle refuge at the National Maritime Park (Caretta-caretta) or go though the Blue Caves. It looks like one of those places where you poort, walk into town and look for tours that may take you to what you want to visit. (I have posted this also on the ports-of-call section)

Rocket4Oh Posted February 21, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted February 21, 2010 Thanks for the link. Have you been there? If so, were there taxi/tour guides available to hire or, better yet, separate trip offerings to the National Maritime Refuge or the Blue Caves.
