StaceyCT Posted March 4, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 4, 2010 Yep, just used luggage valet for a JetBlue flight about six weeks ago. No problems.

Jaxsonbrownie Posted March 21, 2010 #5 Share Posted March 21, 2010 Was this for Royal Caribbean? We are flying Jet Blue this Sept. I would really like to take advantage of this program to make Disembarkation a little easier, and the trip to the airport. Thanks for your help...:)
aggie1 Posted March 21, 2010 #6 Share Posted March 21, 2010 How exactly does luggage valet work? When you leave ship on disembarking day do you have to find your luggage and take them thru customs and then hand over for airline. We are doing B2B on 10/3 and 10/10 and are interested in this. Thanks for your help.
Jaxsonbrownie Posted March 21, 2010 #7 Share Posted March 21, 2010 From Royal Caribbean: Luggage Valet is a service offered onboard which enables guests to bypass traditional airport check-ins. Guest who participate will be processed onboard the ship and receive their airline boarding passes, luggage tags as well as baggage claim checks for their checked-in luggage. This service is available in these selected ports: Fort Lauderdale Port Canaveral San Diego Vancouver Los Angeles Miami San Juan Seattle Seward and on these selected airlines: Air Canada Air Tran Alaska Airlines American Continental Delta United US Airways Jet Blue From what I understand, as I have been researching this option, you sign up for it onboard, you put the luggage out before 11pm the last night. You collect them after disembarkation, to go through customs. Once through there, you hand them over to the cruise line rep.You then don't see it, until you get to final arrival airport. The cost for RCCL is $20pp, goes on your sea pass. If there are extra charges for bags per airline, you will pay those as well.
