excursion question for first time Princess passenger

Hi,

we are booked on the Sea, sept. 29th Mex. Riviera. When we cruised with carnival, excursions were paid for when they were reserved. How does it work with Princess? I thought that I read somewhere that you are not charged until after your cruise. Is this the case?

I would prefer to pay before we go, don't like the big bill afterwards!

They will be charged to your onboard account and not paid ahead of time.

Yes, they will be added to your onboard account. However, you may pre-pay money to that account. Just go to the Purser's desk at any time during your cruise. You may also "gift" yourself with casino credits from home. And don't worry, they don't have to be used in the casino. Just insert your key card in a slot machine and cash out the money, then go to purser's and put the cash on your account.
