FLL Flights

Sailing on Miracle. Does Carnival offer self debark for early flights? Like RCCL.... Is 11:55 too early for a flight?

CCL does offer self debark (called self assist). I would think that you would have plenty of time for your 11:55 flight. Port Everglades is only minutes from the airport.

We also have an early flight from FLL. Ours is at 11:15, I wish it was at 11:55! All the other flight choices would have cost us hundreds more.

 

From all I've read on these boards, I think we'll be okay. We'll use the self assist and get off the ship early. My concern is long lines at FLL, especially since there are so many ships in port that day.

My last cruise from FLL we had plenty of time to get to the airport using self assist. Both 11:15 and 11:45 will be fine. Dont worry and enjoy your cruise!:D

On HA Westerdam out of FLL, we were off the ship by 8:35, no problem making flight (I think it was between 11 and 12) -- FLL is terrific for proximity of port to airport.

Daughter and I off the Miracle in Ft Laud before 0730, at the airport before 8.

We had the 11 something flight to catch. Checked in at the counter and they offered us to be on the 0900 flight. Took it and was home before scheduled flight took off.

While I don't book flights out before 11am out of FL, I have been able to get on an 8:30 am flight before, using self-assist off the ship. You should be fine and maybe even be able to leave earlier, since the earlier flights are usually more open than the later.
