Anyone been on Glory since she was dry docked?

Yes, I was on the first cruise after drydock, as were several others on here (I even got to meet one - Cruising Claire). I hadn't been on Glory (or any other Carnival ship) before, so I can't give a comparison. The ship looked pretty good, though. They were still painting an area or two the first day or so into the cruise; I know I smelled paint in one spot on the first day.

As you can find from previous posts on here on this topic, the additions were things like Serenity (adults-only area), outdoor movie screen, Mongolian Grill, a kids' club, etc. Some general stuff like new carpeting in some areas was done, too, of course.

The ship still had some problems, such as no hot water in some cabins for the first two days (some friends of mine) and a clogged shower drain from day one that filled the whole bathroom up with water (mine, but the guy who came to fix it didn't actually fix it) and on the last night the Lido deck (9) had no water at all (some friends tried to get tap water to drink there - all they could get for free was lemonaide syrup and ice, LOL).

The cruise was fun, though!
