Question about Carnival Fantasy???

We are sailing on the 27th, was wondering when we port back in Mobile how long will it take to get off the ship? The itenary says we will be there at 8:00 a.m. Just checking to make plans... Thanks

Lots of things could delay your getting off. Fog, customs, coast guard. If all goes perfect you should be off by 9:30 or so.

Disembarking usually is completed no later than 9:00, they get you off fast to prepare the ship for the next group who usually begin arriving around 11:00 or so.

We were on the Fantasy two years ago, out of New Orleans. I hope Mobile's port is better than NO's, it took us over 2 hours to board the ship, it was the worse embarkation I'd experienced...the cruise was fun, the crew was great, but the port, not so good.
