1st time in Aruba

Recommended Posts

this will be our first time visiting Aruba, and we were hoping to spend the day on the beach, leaving a couple of hours in the late afternoon to visit the shops in town.

Could someone suggest the best beach to go to? and is it easier to take the bus? or taxi? to get to that particular beach..

Thank you.

We just returned from Aruba last week. We went to Palm Beach which was absolutely beautiful, however, it did get very crowded there as the day went on. We took the public bus and it cost us less than $5 for both of us round trip. We rented a couple of chairs and a tiki hut for $25. Hope this helps!

We rented our beach chairs right in front of the Hyatt and the woman there told us we could use the Hyatt's facilities. We didn't have to pay any additional money. We used their bathrooms, got a couple of drinks at the bar and walked around the pool area.
