Fort Lauderdale Hotel & Transfers

I'm thinking about reserving a night at the Ramada Fort Lauderdale Airport. They offer complimentary airport shuttle service, free buffet breakfast, etc. and from what the pictures show on Hotels.com, the hotel looks nice. Has anyone ever stayed here? Any thoughts?

 

I'm also thinking about reserving round trip transfers through SAS Shuttle Service. I've read a couple posts about them on this site and just wanted to get some more feedback. Their prices seem to be much cheaper than what my travel agent is offering me.

 

Any input or advice on either of the above topics will be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :)

We stayed at the Ramada the night before the cruise 2/11/10 and stayed at the renessance for an additional night after the cruse. We liked them both.

I haven't stayed at the Ramada, but I have used SAS Transportation and can highly recommend them.

I've stayed at several hotels in that area because I'm a student at Nova University. I really like the Homewood Suites in Davie (also pretty close to the airport). Comes with a furnished kitchen so I save money by not eating out all the time.
