sparky-elpaso Posted March 20, 2010 #51 Share Posted March 20, 2010 We just returned from a HAL cruise to the Caribbean - I heard someone say there were 15 kids on board. And all the ones I saw were very well-behaved. One adorable little guy about 2 and his parents were on the elevator with us going down to the gangway to leave the ship and for some reason we stopped at a couple of decks where no one was waiting. The little boy would look out the doors when they opened and very solemnly announce "this is Daddy's floor" and then look at DH and I and say "it's NOT your floor". And all of this was in a very proper British accent. Mom was British and Dad was Dutch. This is the kind of child (and parent) no one should mind. And I wish I had taken a photo of the executive chef in his tall white hat down on his knees interacting with a child in a stroller.
CruizinMom2c Posted March 20, 2010 #52 Share Posted March 20, 2010 Like I always say its not the kids that are the problem, its the parents. And I have seen more rude adults than kids on cruises. ;)
