Genoa - Portofino or Santa Margharita

I seem to be having a hard time finding out if a ferry goes between Genoa and Portofino or Santa Margharita. I have seen only one site in english, and it says that ferry between those 2 areas only operates in August.

There are 2 other sites I have found, but they are both in Italian, and can't seem to see anywhere if they operate in June, and what the times and costs are.

Anyone familiar with taking a ferry between Genoa and Portofino or Santa Margharita that can help?

Below is a brochure for the Liguria region. It offers a one day tour by boat from Genoa to San Fruttuoso (well worth the stop) then on to Protofino.

I don't see where the above link offers ferry service from Genoa to Camogli or Portofino.

 

Is there a ferry service for these ports, or are we better off taking a ship's tour? We'd like to visit the towns on our own time schedule.

It is on page 7 under the two day itinerary. However, if you want your own schedule I suggest taking the train to Santa Margharita then a bus to Portofino. The bus ride is only about ten minutes.
