jjgarv2 Posted February 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2010 We will be staying the Caribe Hilton Saturday night before our cruise and welcome any advice on a Restaurant for dinner that night.(Hopefully within walking distance) I have heard dining in the resort is pricey. We would love some local flavors but are open to all types of food. Thanks!

I'm staying at the Caribe Hilton in April for one night before my cruise, and I pulled up their hotel menus and they are very pricey. I'm with you in hoping we can find some great ideas nearby.:)
Kikkycat Posted February 26, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 26, 2010 There is a restaurant on Escambron beach (believe it's called Escambron Beach Club?). When you come out the street the Hilton is on and past the shuttered Normandie, continue past a sports stadium/complex. Beyond that, there is a walkway towards the ocean. The restaurant is located right next to the beach. We ate there for lunch and found it to be pretty good - not wonderful, but pretty good for reasonable prices. It's the only thing I know of within walking distance to you that's not in the hotel. Edited to add: here's the website: http://www.escambron.com/
