booking online vs CVP

:confused:I had been looking at a particular sailing for months now. The price finally went down last week so I called and left a message with the CVP I have used the last couple of cruises. He sends me emails every couple of weeks. When he did not call back after 2 days I went ahead and booked online. I still had a couple of questions so I left 3 messages over the next week. Each time I called he said he was in the office just not at his desk. My question is- Do they get credit for booking our cruise and because I booked online he is not returning my calls?

My past cruises he has been very helpful. I do all the legwork thanks to CC so he has had to do very little for me, so it's not like i am a pain to him.:confused:
