Ruby Princess - October 24th 2010 FLL

Thanks everyone for the quick responses. I am relieved that St. Martin is set, whew, 1 down. St John sounds like an easy trip so since I've never been, that's probably going to happen.

One thing I have not done is get a hotel for the night we arrive in Ft Lauderdale (Oct 31st) I could not get a flight home that day to save my life. My TA attributed it to being the last day of the boat show? Taking his word on that one. Any recommendations? I have to book it before I leave for Venice next Wednesday.

Goodmorning, the weather has turned cool here in DFW. I have been catching up on the posts. Kenth59 & I are heading out this weekend to see family in Tulsa. The next two weeks he is needing to make big $$ doing massages so I have big $$ for the casino. Every weekend until the cruise we have events planned....this cruise will be here before I know it. Kenth will have a massage booth at the Fort Worth pride picnic (stop by and say hi if any of you are in town on the 10th).

I think anyplace in FLL on Halloween should be fun. We're staying at Cheston House but its close to the beach farther from the Wilton Manor area where the clubs and resturants are. The Schubert is the big resort in Wilton Manor area

There is a 4.5 hour trip to Orient Beach that includes lunch. I guess that is what we will do at St. Martin.

Hey all,

Hope everyone is having a great week, getting closer everyday to sail away.

St. Marteen we will most likely do Orient Beach but will do it on our own and not through the ship.

Grand Turk we are doing the clear kayak and eco-safari tour.

St. Thomas will probably be a trip to Magen's Bay and then stroll around downtown for awhile.

We are heading to Tulsa tomorrow and then to Missouri for a few days.

Hey jiimynterry, I spoke to Bernard and he said it was no problem to have 13 people in the van.

 

Let me just ask the folks on the main board if they mind. But I say you two are in! It's going to be a gay old time! By my count I think 9 of the 13 people are family!!

The plane lands at 930 in Miami, we have booked a transfer with Princess, so dont know when we will get to the ship.

This is getting bad, I want it to be the 24th right now...I have a feeling next 12 days are going to go by very slowly.

Today was a busy day as will be the rest of this week, I have a feeling work is going to be a bitch next week too. We canceled our day trip to Dallas on the 23rd, so at least I will not be that rushed to get everything done next week before we leave.

Does anyone know if Princess blocks any internet connections, such as Skype. I am thinking of getting a Skype phone number so that Jimmy can forward is mobile phone to that number.

Hey guys, sorry I never got back to you. Work has been, well work! But I fired him yesterday so hopefully I can wrap up things in time.

 

The other folks said no problem so come with us on the tour! But we aren't letting anyone else join us.

I am not sure. I know that in the beginning I couldn't use my work computer to log into my work because they blocked the cp code. But it works fine now. But I only use it for the football pool! Please don't let me do work next week!!
