Ship docks @ 11:30; Beach recomendations?

Hello,

Our ship is scheduled to dock at 11:30am. I am looking for some beach recommendations. All I want to do is some good snorkeling (preferably with a guide, since it'd be my first time), and then lay out in a quiet area with a tasty frozen fruity drink and a good book.

I'm concerned that the beaches will be crowded by the time we get there since there are 2 other ships that are arriving before us.

Also, I noticed most beaches close at 4 or 5pm. Would buying an all-inclusive package be worth it, since I'm assuming we won't get there till 12:30 or 1pm?

I've been reading about Nachi Cocom and Playa Uvas. Does anyone think one of these will suit us better than the other? Does anyone have any other recommendations? Are there beaches that stay open later?

Thanks!
