Anyone ever get a refund from orbitz

Hi All, looking for some hope. I recently booked by flight for a july cruise from boston to venice for a little over $1300. The flights now (2 days later) dropped to $1000. I know that if someone else books the same flights that they will issue a refund but has anyone ever had that actually happen? it doesn't help that they don't advertise this price on the search page, you have to pretend that you're ready to book.

 

Any comments on your experiences would be appreciated.:)

This has come up several times before (do a search of the forum for Orbitz in the thread title) and those of us with knowledge of ticketing and the Orbitz guarantee reckon your chance of getting a refund is less than 1%. Personally I'd put it at less than 0.1%.

Unfortunately the the chances of being refunded are indeed very low. Its worth a try though!:o
