What are Premium Balconies?

Good Morning!

What are Premium Balcony Staterooms? What is included in the room? I ask because we are booked for an OS on the Victory, but many of you rave about how much you love the aft balconies! When I looked at the deck plan on the Victory, the OS is only on midship, and I've always wanted an aft. What is the major difference between Premium Balconies and OS?

Premium balcony cabins are the corner aft wrap cabins. The OS has a larger room but the balcony on the wraps (9c) is much larger. The aft wrap cabins are a little larger than the regular cabins but they have an irregular shape so it's hard to compare. We just had a wrap on the Carnival Dream. There was no sofa (but some do have one if that's important), a little table and a chair. The OS has a tub instead of just a shower. The OS comes with VIP embarkation/debarkation which the 9C does not. If you're Platinum it doesn't matter. Most people would not give up their aft wrap for any one of the old cat. 11 cabins. It just depends if you're going to spend more time outside or inside - bigger balcony vs. bigger cabin.
