NBJ Posted March 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2010 :rolleyes:I have today booked a cruise on Azura on May 10th. I forgot to ask for a free parking place at Southampton, can anyone suggest the best parking option, I can't stay the night before, so have to park on the morning of departure. So far parking seems very expensive, would be glad of any cheap suggestions please:)
Johnthed0g Posted March 3, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2010 As far I know the CPS service is pretty good & problem free, I doubt if you would have got free parking booking this late anyway. I agree it is expensive though.

I don't think they'll mind the room not been used and be glad of the business! Alternatively book the parking and then stay at the hotel on your return journey, I think you can get a deal for £99 if you pretend to be using the airport, not the cruise terminal

ROSEBASKETS Posted March 3, 2010 #7 Share Posted March 3, 2010 I just had a thought....what's to stop someone leaving their car at a hotel then getting a taxi to the port?? Would the clamping release fee be less expensive? If its a long cruise wouldn't it get towed?

Johnthed0g Posted March 4, 2010 #10 Share Posted March 4, 2010 Well I know one hotel that P&O use where they would never know who parked there! We don't need parking as we just get our neighbour to drive us, another bonus for us ....ease of access.
