NCL Pearl

Recommended Posts

We are interested in trying something new and are looking at booking our first NCL cruise on the Pearl. We have cruised RCCL and CCL and I am wondering if NCL has "drink of the day" specials also what are the drink prices like? I have l always thought RCCL and CCL had great drink prices but have heard others on the boards elude to NCL high prices.

Thanks in advance!

(any other advise on cruising NCL and the Pearl would be greatly appreciated):)

Everyday there are Bar Managers Specials. Drinks of the Day are 7.95, Martinis of the Day are 8.75, Sailaway drinks on the souvenir glasses 8.50

Just got off the Pearl three weeks ago so if you have any questions fire away.

That sounds reasonable to me.

Did you use the main dining room?

What was the entertainment like?

Can you find a deck chair?

Was the buffet ok?

Did you use the casiono? (DH likes the casiono)

We are pretty easy going and don't sweat the small stuff but appreciate good service and tasty food.

We just booked our third Pearl cruise for November. Love the Pearl.

The buffet is great and we go there for breakfast every day and then eat in the Great Outdoors. Its a great way to start your day.

We eat in the MDRs (there are two) but also enjoy the specialty restaurants. It is fun to decide where you want to eat, when and with whom you want to eat. It is also resort casual. The dining choices are our favorite part of the NCL cruise experience.

Check out the NCL-U classes and go to the wine, beer, martini and/or margarita classes. It is a lot of fun, and drink, for $15.

My DH enjoys the casino on the Pearl. Sometimes he wins and sometimes he makes a donation.

We always find deck chairs that are away from the action and never have problems finding them. They are harder to find directly next to the pool but it is a large pool area with two pools.

Have fun!
