Table for 2

I have booked select dining and have requested a table for 2 but they say they cannot guarantee that. Does anyone know if there is usually a difficulty with that type of request. Thanks in advance for any answers you may have on this

We have just returned from the Connstellation and had select dining.

It worked great for us and we had a table for two each night,

sometimes it was set for 4 with only the 2 of us .

We usually dine late tho, after 8pm and had great service.

When we booked, select dining was not an option. We could have joined a wait list, but not a guarantee. Furthermore, the only size table that was available was for 6.

 

Is it possible to switch once on board?

You can request the change on board. See the maitre d in the dining room as soon as you board.
