jwright98 Posted March 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2010 I'm hoping to be on the Century in December. Before booking, are there any "special" Concierge cabins with say, larger balconies or nicer decor? I heard of the sweet 16 on M class. Just wondering. My choices for category C2 are limited to a few cabins near the front and near the rear (like near the aft elevators), on the Vista and Penthouse decks. BTW, this will be my very first cruise. :)

excitedofharpenden Posted March 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2010 No, there aren't any secret CC cabins on Century with larger balconies or better decor than others. Phil Should have added that the C1 over the C2 seems to be a reflection of the fact the higher category are more midship and nothing more.
diligaf51 Posted March 13, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2010 Cabin 9230 and the corresponding cabin on the port side of the ship have an angled, larger balcony. I have stayed in 9320. On the 8th deck, the same cabins have a larger balcony as well.

They are aft cabins and offer great views as they have no aft balcony partition. We had 9230 on the last TA on Century and enjoyed the views the balcony offered but the lack of privacy was a issue for us. All the CC cabins have the some inside space. We likely would not book this stateroom again even with the additional balcony size based on that it's only 1/3rd covered from above. Hope this helps and enjoy your cruise on Century, its our favorite ship. Joel
excitedofharpenden Posted March 13, 2010 #6 Share Posted March 13, 2010 I had another thought and was just coming back to mention 9230 and 9243 and someone beat me to it;) From memory the only issue with those cabins is that you can see down onto the open balcony from the public deck above.
