rti Posted March 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2010 We are thinking on cruising to Asia next year. We really didn't want to go to as many of the "big" cities that seem to be on the itineraries with the bigger cruise lines. Any ideas on which cruise lines go to the smaller cities and when is a good time of year to go? Thank you!
paul929207 Posted March 10, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2010 The Ocean Princess is a smaller ship and goes to some of the smaller ports.
rti Posted March 10, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted March 10, 2010 I read the Asia/virtual and they couldn't go to the smaller ports due to weather. That would be so too bad! (Vietnam etc):(
Aunty Pat Posted March 11, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 11, 2010 Because of air connects, you’ll the larger cities at the beginning and end of most cruises unless you go on an expedition type ship. Check Cruise West & Lindblad/National Geographic for expeditions. Also look at HAL, Oceania, Regent, Silversea, Crystal and Seabourn for itineraries that include the smaller Asian ports.
