Free Time on "Taste of Florence" Tour

We're planning on taking the "Taste of Florence Tour" off of the Voyager at the end of May. Its half guided tour, half free time. I was hoping someone on the board has taken that tour and can tell me when the free time was scheduled since I was thinking of getting an advanced reservation for the Acadamia Museum.

I took this off the Brilliance, we took the bus in, toured around and then he left us at same square that was the meeting point . I think we had 2-2 1/2 hours free. If you leave the tour early I don't know if you would find the square that is the meeting point.

 

If you really want to see David I would take a tour that includes that.

Please be very careful wandering around Florence-I have been thre twice and the pickpockets and beggars were the worst! Luckily, we were on tours and our guides help protect us from them. Really bad-be careful!

The great entertainment in Florence was the knock off purse vendors!

They would see the police, sweep up the purses in a sheet, hide behind

somehting and put back down within seconds of the police walking by.

You should be aware that the police will arrest the customer of an illegal vendor, as part of their strategy to cut down on this activity.
