kclcruise Posted March 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2010 Can anyone tell me how family friendly Radiance of the Seas is? We are doing a short 4 nighter. I was wondering about the kids clubs and activities available for kids. Thanks so much for any info about the ship. :)
cb at sea Posted March 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2010 All of RCI's ships are "family friendly"! You'll probably have to DRAG the kids out of AO, kicking and screaming....kids (especially young kids!) LOVE AO! The ship is quite pretty....do try Seaview Cafe up on deck 12....the food is included and it's GOOD! A nice change from WJ and dining room! Do try the dining room for breakfast...it's nicer than the buffet....they serve you and you won't have to juggle everything while looking for a table. Shorts, flip-flops are fine for breakfast and lunch! You'll have a great time!

ginger2000 Posted March 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2010 My kids were 4 and 8 on their first cruise - which also was the Radiance!!!! They LOVED it!
boulders Posted March 12, 2010 #5 Share Posted March 12, 2010 I did an Alaskan cruise this past August with ds4 (plus dd11 and ds13). DS4 now says he wants to "live" on a cruise ship. He had a blast. The counselors on Radiance were the best ones I've seen.
curlymom Posted March 14, 2010 #6 Share Posted March 14, 2010 I did R of the Seas 2 years ago. My dd was an infant at the time, but we were with a group of 20, and there were kids of all ages with us and EVERYONE had a great time. A lot of the 5-11 year olds were enjoying themselves in the onboard kids space...at dinner, everyone talked about what a fantastic time they had. Great memories made! A fun time was had by all!
