Flights with RCI

We have our flights booked with RCI from Heathrow to Barcelona for our upcoming cruise in May. As you may of seen, British Airways have announced strike action in March and Possible April. If this is not sorted I can easily see this extending further and guess who are flights are booked with.... yup BA!:mad:.

 

We have made final payment for our cruise, but is it possible at this stage to drop the flight options with RCI and make our own arrangements. If so would this be OBC? I know that RCI say they will try to sort it out in event of a strike affecting our flights, but needless to say it's still a little nerve-wracking. We are booked through a large British TA

They are striking end of march start of april so fingers x'd will be sorted, does your insurance cover you for this ? Think i'd ask the TA to look into alternatives to set your mind at ease or advise what they have done in past for similar situations.

The strike dates are at the end of March and beginning of April. At this point you do not need to worry about your May flights.
