globalhoneymooning Posted March 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2010 I recall reading NCL charged port charges and taxes for infants under 1, is this still true? Or do they pay the 3rd+ passenger price?
bakerintn Posted March 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2010 from the NCL website FAQ: Do children cruise for free? Kids under two cruise at a substantially reduced fare and certain itineraries offer specials on 3rd and 4th guests in the same stateroom. Infants under six months of age are not eligible for travel on NCL ships. This doesn't tell you what the fare is but when you try to book, you can find that out. NJfoodie Posted March 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2010 I recall reading NCL charged port charges and taxes for infants under 1, is this still true? Or do they pay the 3rd+ passenger price? We paid the 3rd passenger rate for my son who will be 14 months at the time of sailing. Online, it looked like it would have been the same rate whether for an infant or an adult for the 3rd passenger. That being said, it was still much lower than 3rd pax fares on the other lines we looked at when we were trying to decide between this trip or others.
