WeBeGone Posted March 15, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2010 If you post your question on the Ports of Call section, you'll probably hear from folks that have done your excursion. But yes, all jewelery must be removed.

In that case you could leave your ring on. I suggest you contact the place you are doing the swim and ask their policy.
teripp Posted March 15, 2010 #6 Share Posted March 15, 2010 To be safe lock all your jewelry and wedding rings in your room. No jewelry, hair ties, sun tan lotion are some of the things to avoid. Teri
luvs2travl Posted March 15, 2010 #7 Share Posted March 15, 2010 I have always worn my wedding band - I leave the engagement ring on board (in the safe with the rest of the "good" jewelry) for all shore excursions. They will ask that no necklaces, large (hoop) earrings, bracelets, anklets, etc., be worn when swimming with the dolphins. My two grand-daughters have worn their very small stud earrings with no problem. They also ask that no sunscreen be worn, so be sure and take a top or T-shirt to cover up so you won't burn. Have a great time. It is a wonderful experience. :D

Gingee Posted March 16, 2010 #10 Share Posted March 16, 2010 We swam with the dolphins in Cozmuel and they didn't say anything about rings. They did prefer no sunscreen.
