Best Time???

During the winter months, which is their "dry" season. Not really all that dry......Panama is in a rain forest.

While it may be possible to find a Canal cruise almost any month of the year, most of the cruises you will encounter will occur from around September until around the begining of May. The majority of these cruises will occur during the December-April time frame, which is dry season as noted above. Even if you pick a cruise during the rainy season, it normally is not all that bad. Most of time when it rains, it is a shower which probably will pass fairly quickly and not an all day gully washer:D!
