20th Anniversary Trip

Hello -

 

DH and I will be visiting St. Thomas for our 20th anniversary in November 2010 on the Oasis. We have NEVER been to the island.

 

We are outdoorsy, horses, good food, beach, waterfall, adventurous types..... We love national parks, beautiful drives etc....

 

What would you recommend for something ROMANTIC to do .... we are NOT into cruise ship tours..... however, we love hiring someone who knows the area ----

 

We need suggestions on WHAT TO DO , where TO GO and who to book through ....

 

We are also open to St. John - but how easy it is to get there. We have never been here !

 

Any suggestions would be MOST appreciated.

Hmmm, romantic tough one. My wife and I vistied St.Thomas for on our Honeymoon during a cruise stop. She had been when she was younger again, on a cruise stop and I practically grew up there. So it was immediately a special place for us and still is, we go back yearly now. The next summer for our 1 year anniversary we again stopped at St.Thomas during a cruise. During the morning we walked around town and bought each other anniversary gifts. I bought her a diamond pendant she liked and I got a ruby and diamond ring. Maybe you can do the same and look for the special gift to each other?
