Lunch - Chankanaab or Pancho's Backyard?

Hi, everyone!

 

We usually have lunch at Pancho's Backyard when in Cozumel, but this year we'll be in Chankanaab for an excursion and are wondering how good the restaurants in the park are? Can anyone throw out some insight on this? Info on food safety, quality, price, etc. in Chankanaab would be much appreciated.

It's been a while since I've eaten there, but I definitely wouldn't leave there after paying admission to eat somewhere else, especially at a place like Panchos which will have a similar menu. The food at the park was good and fairly priced. Food safety would be no more of an issue there than it would at Panchos as well.
