Cozumel Excursions- Specifically Mayan Sites

We just put a deposit on a cruise for our honeymoon in May! We chose this one exclusively because it goes to Cozumel and we REALLY want to see Mayan ruins.

 

Well, we'll be there from 1 PM to 10 PM. Anyone know what time sundown is? And will we be able to find beach parties after 8 30?

 

See, the 2 excursions our ship offers are:

 

$55 for 4 hours to San Gervasio, snorkeling afterwards.

 

$77 for 7 hours (3.5 of those travel) to Tulum, with 1.5 hours to do your own thing. The ruins are by the beach, so we can swim or snorkel if we want.

 

We're also looking at a couple horseback tours. Anyone have any advice? Pics? Is the travel to Tulum fun at all? Thanks!

Go to the Caribbean board and then it lists all of the ports. Cozumel is there.
