LadyQB Posted March 17, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2010 I booked my cruise with an on-line TA and when I access my account, my stateroom number say guarantee; however, when I access my account on Celebrity, it shows a stateroom number. Have Celebrity assigned me a stateroom number and what is the possiblility of the stateroom number changing? My cruise is not until October and I have not made the final payment yet. One cruise the room number was given months in advance but just before the cruise we were acutally moved up a couple of categories. On the other cruise (another cruiseline) we had the room number and it was the same when we arrived. Just keep an eye on it. I hope it is a location that you like! You have already been booked a room. However....still watch prices on your cruise. If the rates on a higher category room go down to what you paid for your guarantee or prices go even lower:), you can call the TA and move up to that other category and/or get an obc for the difference. We were assigned a balcony guarantee room. Then the prices dropped and we moved up 3 levels plus got a $250 obc. All after final payment. YOU have to watch for those drops as the TA won't.
