FOS b2b in June - which night is best for speciality restaurant?

My family & I are traveling on FOS in June on B2B (our first B2B, 14 days total). We are trying to decide which nights to do Chops & Portofino's. I'm thinking we'll do Chops on the first cruise then Portofino's on the 2nd cruise but on differnent nights of the week. Hubby doesn't want to miss anything in the MDR so can you tell me what you think is the best night on each leg of the cruise to each of these restaurants?

 

We might change our mind once we board & decide to book both in the same week (if available) but we want to board knowing we have at least one reservation in each restaurant minimum.

IMO, I think you should wait until you get on the ship to book your reservation that way you won't miss any special ice shows or entertainers that you may miss if you book ahead of time.

 

I am sure they will have availability.
