Sunny AZ Girl Posted March 19, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2010 My DD and I will be in Juneau in July. She is 27 yo and really wants to do the Glacier View Sea Kayak excursion through Carnival. Due to physical limitations I know I cannot do this excursion. I would do something else at this port. That's ok. The excursion description states that they are two man kayaks with a guide for every 5 or 6 kayaks. It does not say you have to be in groups of two. Would there be a problem for her signing up for this as a single? Would they be able to pair her up with someone else? Has anyone else done this or know how they work out singles here? Yukon Posted March 19, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2010 They put singles together, or if there are none she sometimes goes with a guide, or more likely gets a kayak to herself.
