Grits53 Posted March 19, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2010 Several of us are seeking recent reviews of Carnival's cave tubing excursion. I'd like to know if this takes place from Jaguar Paw resort? It mentions "Jaguar Jungle Camp" in the description, but I am led to believe that this is NOT the resort. Can anyone explain what the Jungle Camp is? How many people were linked together? How many cave tubers per guide? Anything you have to say would be helpful. This request is for recent Carnival tours, taking place since they started offering them again this year. I have narrowed down my choices to either this excursion or booking Jaguar Paw (or whatever their name is now) on my own. THANKS! :)
Fourseventeen Posted March 19, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2010 Most of the cave tubing excursions go through Jaguar Paw. You need to enter their "camp" to get to the trails that take you to the river system. BUT why put more money to the cruise line. Use X-stream cave tubing by booking through Island Marketing. 50.00 PP includes lunch and transportation and IMHO the best option while in Belize. The only reason for going with the cruise line would be peace of mind that the ship won't leave us there.
