Nat699 Posted March 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2010 I will be in Barbados next week. Does anyone know of the beast beaches to find seaglass? Thanks!
NCSunshine Posted March 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2010 west coast beaches, as far as I'm concerned, are the best for Sea Glass, but having said that, I'm not sure it's as easy to find as once before. Good luck.
ToxicMussels Posted March 22, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 22, 2010 Just got back from Barbados with the biggest beach glass/sea glass find of my whole trip. You can walk to the beach from the ship. It's Brandon's Beach, and you can walk to Malibu Beach Club (the beach behind the Malibu Rum Tour) also. It's a half hour walk through town a bit and to the beach. Go North from the cruise harbor and stay close to the shore, you know you'll be going the right direction when you pass the Mount Gay Rum factory. You can get a very detailed and FREE map of Barbados from the tourism center in the shopping mall at the cruise harbor. Found about twenty pieces ranging in size from a dime to the largest about the size of a silver dollar. Mostly green and brown, found two clearish/blue pieces. The clear ones were hard to find. Rare Buffettfan 225 Posted May 29, 2010 #12 Share Posted May 29, 2010 Martins Bay had AMAZING sea glass! Thinking of walking to Brandons Beach-would you literally follow coast, or go out onto street and "walk that direction?". Martins Bay--where is that?
